Christian Fellowship Ministries

Christian Fellowship Ministries is the umbrella organization of all churches under “leadership” of the Potter’s House in Prescott, Arizona. Their original roots lie in FourSquare, but when Wayman Mitchell split from FourSquare in 1981—in a non-peaceful manner, you should note—they were nicknamed the “Arizona Fellowship” by FourSquare, and later officially renamed to ‘Christian Fellowship Ministries’, or ‘Christian Fellowship Churches’.

The Door

The Door was presumably started by Harold Warner in Tuscon, Arizona.

The Dutch branch, translated to “Evangelie Gemeente De Deur”, was started by Rudy van Diermen, then taken over by Evert Valk, though Rudy van Diermen discouraged Wayman Mitchell to make Evert Valk pastor of the church in Zwolle, the Netherlands. According to Rudy, Evert had an immoral spirit; in the end it seemed Rudy was right, since Evert victimized at least 16 women.
